Top 3 “Stocking Stuffers” for the Lady (or Ladies) in Your Life

by Savannah Groeneveld

Filling up a stocking with unique gifts can sometimes be more difficult than picking out larger gifts, whether its for your best gal-pals or your “special someone.” I have put together the Blonde Brigade’s list of the best “stocking stuffers” for those that have little to no clue on what to put in a lady’s stocking!

1. Touchscreen Gloves

It may not be cold enough yet where you are, but as soon as the freezing temperatures hit – you’ll notice that your glove-covered fingers won’t allow you to text, surf the web or dial on your phone’s touchscreen. What’s the solution? Texting gloves!

There are a wide variety of “texting” gloves on the market- but we have really fallen in love with the women’s Magic Texting Gloves by Alki’i – which are a steal at $9.99! This is one gift that she won’t know how bad she needs – until she needs it!

2. Steve Jobs Biography

This might be a little biased on my part, but anyone that loves a good “story” will like this book! My “inner bookworm” couldn’t put this book down from the minute I brought it home- not to mention my lasting infatuation with the man himself long after finishing the book! Get the book on Amazon at less than half of the retail price!

3. Personalized HANKY PANKY Panties

With panties and accessories from $18 and up, HANKY PANKY has something for every lady! Surprisingly, these panties get even better when you add your own “personalizations” to them. Bedazzle her name or “pet name” on her favorite panties and become her favorite in no time!

Courtney’s November “Pick”: Benefit’s “Finding Mr. Bright”

by courtney0004

If you know me, you know I am a fan of many different makeup brands, putting them all to use on any given day. Unfortunately, there are “those days” when you are in a hurry or just don’t want to take the time to put on a full face of makeup- but still want to look presentable.
A few weeks ago I came across Benefit’s newest cosmetics kit, Finding Mr. Bright, and found that it’s perfect  for someone who wants to look great with out having to go through all the tedious steps of applying makeup. “Finding Mr. Bright” contains four different sample-sized Benefit products, including:
“Girl Meets Pearl” – a face illuminator that can be used daily in place of your foundation– or can be mixed with foundation to give your skin a fresh glow.
“Poisy-Tint” -  a soft-pink, lip and cheek stain that gives your face color throughout the day.
“Erase Paste” -  a concealer that can be used to get rid of the dark circles under your eyes (especially those resulting from a long night), and also acts as a concealer for other trouble spots on your face.
Last but not least,  a product called “High Beam”, which is a highlighter you can apply to your cheeks and upper eye lid for a little extra shine.
I don’t use many Benefit products, but I have found that they do put a variety of great little makeup kits together that are fun to try. Finding Mr. Bright is my latest obsession among the Benefit product line!
TIP FOR THE WISE: Don’t fight the crowds and pay full price for this product… You can steal it on Amazon for $27.99 (Reg. $36.00)
with free shipping!
