BRUNCHES – (NOUN) – Anywhere from our “sweats, pony tail and  Marie Calendar brunches (which we’ve been known to get fully refunded due to lack of quality)” to our “meeting your potential life partner brunches”…  they are all priceless! Some days the laughs at brunch lead us all the way into dinner (which we prefer) and other times we all part ways and get back to our life duties!

DAY TRIP -(NOUN) -  A day trip is very similar to a happy hour but lasts for about 8 hours, give or take an hour or two- depending on the trouble that we find ourselves in! Day trips consists of random trips to nearby cities and usually have a mission of some sort – whether its retail therapy, a golf course bar hop or a day spent running around the greater Fresno area together. Day trips have been “story producers” from day one, and each of them will always have a special place in our hearts.

HAPPY HOUR – (NOUN) – Happy hours to us are a “gathering point” to either get something started, solve a problem or sometimes just to get a quick, hour-long fix of each other!  Sometimes they are planned in advance and other times they are planned via a text labeled “STAT!!!”  The 100 or so we have attended have all started the same … but each one has a very different and unique ending!

SLUMBER PARTIES -(NOUN) – Whether held in a hotel or at one of our homes… There aren’t many differences between our “younger” sleepovers and our “older” sleepovers—they are still a gathering of besties in their pajamas/lingerie piled in a bed (or a combo of beds in a hotel room) – solving the worlds problems and making each other “dig deep” and get it all out!  Believe us, nothing is held back! Courtney seems to always spice it up by starting games like “Would You Rather” and secretly pulling out the flip-cam for “evidence”!   The best part of these oh-so-memorable times is that 1 of 2 things are bound to occur – we either laugh until we cry or cry until we laugh!

WILSHIRE – (VERB) – Example: We walked into the bathroom and this random chick was doing the Wilshire! This “BB original” originates from the bathroom of the actual Beverly Hills Wilshire Hotel. On one of their trips to the bathroom, Meri and Bri saw a woman making herself throw up in the sink, and so from here on out the act of someone making themselves throw up is referred to by us as the Wilshire.
